Yes, banana nut with vegan cream cheese on top. I load it up with cranberries, raisins, apple, sunflower seeds, whey powder, flaxseed, organic whole wheat flour, cereals, raw sugar and honey.

Knah, that is similar to Mom’s fried dough with butter and sugar. I just had French toast with cinnamon, butter, pure maple syrup and honey. Top with walnuts and banana..yum.

I like cinnamon toast because it is quick and simple to make when you want something sweet. Be sure and take a picture if you make some.

Here it could be either breakfast or desert.

Here we call what you are describing French Toast. We eat it with butter and syrup like we would a pancake or a waffle. It is generally considered a breakfast item.

I’m gonna try :-) Here’s wentelteefje (which litterally means ‘little turning bitch’ don’t ask why, I really have no idea, haha): beat up an egg with a little milk. Ad a generous amount of cinnamon. Then soak a slice of bread in it. Bake in a little butter. When golden brown (but still moist inside) take out and spinkle with icing sugar. Similar yet different. :-)

I must have more, God damn it!!!!!

  • knah re:knah's toss on May 8, 2012

I toast the bread then spread it generously with butter while it is hot. Then I sprinkle on granulated sugar and finally I sprinkle on ground cinnamon. Then eat. Yum!

That looks a bit like our ‘wentelteefje’. How do you make this?
