How to play

How does a jagimo work?

Someone tosses a topic with their own answer. Up to eight more people catch it and add theirs: a few words or a photo. Nobody sees anyone else's toss until the jagimo is done, then everyone in it gets the mashup.

When is a jagimo done?

When it has nine tosses, or 12 hours after it started, whichever comes first. If nobody caught it, only the person who started it sees that it expired.

Why did my catch disappear?

After you catch a topic you have five minutes to toss. If time runs out, or you tap Pass, the spot goes back for someone else.

Can I delete a toss?

Yes, while its jagimo is still open. Once the mashup is revealed, tosses stay so the mashup makes sense for everyone in it.

Account

I didn't get the verification or password-reset email

Check your spam folder. If you signed in with Apple and chose "Hide My Email", the email goes to your Apple relay address and is forwarded to you.

Can I change my username?

No, usernames are permanent. You can change your photo, email, password, and sign-in methods in Profile.

How do I sign in with Apple or Google on an existing account?

Sign in the way you did before, then go to Profile → Sign-in methods and tap Add.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Delete Account. See Delete your account for what's removed.

Notifications and location

I'm not getting notifications

Make sure Notifications is on in Jagimo!'s Profile and that notifications are allowed for Jagimo! in your phone's Settings.

How precise is the location on a toss?

Only a city name and a spot rounded to about 5 km, and only if you turn it on for that toss. It's off by default.

Safety

To report a topic, toss, or comment, open its menu and tap Report; it's hidden for you right away and we review it. You can also block someone from any of their tosses or comments, or ignore them from their profile so neither of you catches the other's topics. Read our Content Policy and Child Safety Standards.
